Editing a Page

Click on the Pages link in the left hand panel and then click All Pages. This will display a list of web pages you can edit. You can also Search for a page in the top right.

Click on the page's title to open up the Editor or hover over the page title and click Edit from the options that appear.

This will open up the Editor screen.

 

The Editor screen is made up of a Page Title and elements called Blocks. Each block contains content (text, images, documents etc.) that can be arranged to create a web page.

Edit a Block

 

You can edit any existing block on the page by clicking it and choosing from the options which appear in the small toolbar above the block or from the right panel which can be toggled open or closed by clicking the Gear icon above it.

Adding a Block

To add a Block to the page click the Plus icon near the top left corner which will reveal the many content Blocks available to you. You can scroll through them or search for the type of content you wish to add.

When you have found the Block you want simply drag into position on the page.

There are dozens of content blocks you can choose from but most of the time you will only need a select few: Heading, Text, Image, Gallery and File. There are quick links on how to use the most common blocks in the right panel of this guide.

Update Page

You can Preview your page during editing or when you are happy with your edited page click the big blue Update button in the top right corner. You can then view the updated page by clicking View Page in the top toolbar.

Blog

Your class page may contain a Blog. A Blog is simply a collection of content called Posts usually displayed in date order with the most recent first. Please see Adding a Post for instructions on how to manage your Blog.
