The
role of parents and other adults at Tuckswood School
We
welcome the enormous contribution that parents and other caring
adults make to Tuckswood School, and encourage them to help and
join in with all our activities. We value parents support in encouraging
their children to learn, to read and enjoy sharing a love of storybooks,
poetry and rhyme. We see a positive partnership with parents as
being the most effective way of developing children's learning and
sense of values (see 'Parents as Partners').
We
appreciate the skill, experience, commitment and hard work of our
learning support assistants and school secretary. The caretaker
and cleaning staff help to create and maintain a clean and safe
environment for your child to work and play in. The Norfolk Catering
service, dining assistant and Mid-day Supervisors play an extremely
important role at lunchtimes by encouraging independence and personal
hygiene. All of these people are part of the 'Tuckswood Team'.
