Use this site to find out the latest thinking on current gifted and talented initiatives, practical guidance and advice on developing the needs of gifted and talented children and for professional development for teaching staff.

http://ygt.dcsf.gov.uk  - the site for the National Programme for Gifted and Talented Education (NPGaTE) There are areas on this site for schools, governors, learners, parents/carers, etc.

www.cfbt.com/learneracademy - the CfBT site explaining their management of the new Young, Gifted and Talented Learner Academy that replaces NAGTY.

www.nace.co.uk  -  the site for the National Association for Able Children in Education.  Information about the NACE Challenge Award can be found on this site.

www.Londongt.org  -  London Gifted & Talented creates high quality learning programmes and e-resources to stretch students and support their teachers at Key Stages 1 - 5 across the curriculum. There are some excellent online resources that are free to use.

An excellent site of history resources for KS2 and KS3 history.

Secondary specific:

www.nc.uk.net/gt/ - This is the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority’s guidance on teaching 14 – 19 gifted and talented pupils.  It provides both general guidance and subject-specific guidance.

www.aspire-ma.com  -  This site provides Enterprise activities with a science theme for use within the secondary Citizenship curriculum.
