26 January and 3 February 2007
Year 5 children from eleven of Medway Excellence cluster primary schools joined together with the University College of Creative Arts to create a display interpreting their ideas on the 5 Outcomes for Children as detailed in the Government white paper, ‘Every Child Matters’. The second workshop was attended by members of the children’s families to construct the display which proved to be a really fun day. Everyone came away with positive comments and hoped there would be more of these workshops in the future.
The Five Outcomes for Children are: Be Healthy, Stay Safe, Enjoy and Achieve, Make a Positive Contribution, Achieve Economic Well-being; interpreted in sculpture, painting, collage and photography.
