The workshops taught the year 9 and 10 pupils about basic pin-hole photography and dark room processing. Each student made his/her own pinhole camera using an old biscuit tin, then used the camera to take photographs of the area around the college. Working in the darkroom their pictures were developed, producing some impressive results.
On Day 2 the students spent time working with their photographs using a computer package, learning how to translate their photograph into other forms. Finally they created a picture inspired by their photographs.
Parents and tutors were delighted with the quality of the work produced by the students, examples of which can also been seen in our pupil gallery.
