As you are probably aware, Jemma Gardner, a student from the University of Surrey, has undertaken an extensive evaluation of the impact and success of the Medway Excellence Cluster and Behaviour Improvement Programme.
The main areas of impact of the Medway Excellence Cluster, as shown by the evaluation, include extended opportunities for pupils, provision of support focused to suit the needs of the individual pupil, positive impact upon socio-emotional well-being, pupil self-esteem and confidence, removal of barriers to achievement and the introduction of behaviour management strategies and new staff roles.
The evaluation has now been completed and a hard copy of the final report, which outlines the impact of each of the strands of the Cluster as well as discussion of the overall changes in attainment, attendance and exclusions within the Cluster schools., has been distributed to each school involved in the Cluster. You can also download the evaluation as a PDF file below.
We would like to thank all those who have contributed to the successful completion of the evaluation.
